To celebrate its grand opening in Oak Lawn, Illinois, MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes will host a fundraiser for local elementary schools Saturday, Aug. 29.

All day on Saturday customers also will get free French fries with any purchase, whether it's for a full meal or a drink or a decadent jelly-doughnut shake. Even better, when you mention your favorite local elementary school, 25 percent of your purchase will be donated to that school.

Brothers Kal and Sam Mohamed were born and raised in the Oak Lawn community and wanted to give back in honor of their business opening. They have a busy fall planned with two more fundraising events already on the calendar and availability to host many more fundraisers, school or church events.

Although the grand opening in this weekend, the restaurant opened a few weeks ago to rave reviews. Kal Mohamed tells the Oak Lawn Patch that the restaurant has quickly built repeat customers.

The brothers have plans to open many more locations throughout Chicago's southern suburbs. They have already begun construction on a Joliet restaurant.
