Last week, Harrison-resident Anthony Grippo opened doors to his second <a href="http://www.mooyahfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=westchester-county-business-journal-mooyah-burgers-fries-shakes-opens-location-in-larchmont-new-york-4448" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">MOOYAH Burgers, Fries &amp; Shakes</a>- this one in Larchmont. This comes less than six months after Grippo opened the first <a href="http://mooyah.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=westchester-county-business-journal-mooyah-burgers-fries-shakes-opens-location-in-larchmont-new-york-4448" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">MOOYAH</a> in the state. Grippo signed a six-unit deal with the brand and plans to continue expansion with one location a year, targeting communities in Westchester and Fairfield counties. Grippo comes from a finance background, spending most of his career working for the likes of J.P. Morgan and Lehman brothers. After the financial crash, Grippo knew it was time for a career change. &#8220;That was kind of a big wake-up call for me,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Something could just get ripped out from under you, and you have no control over it.&nbsp;I just didn&#8217;t want to be in that position again.&#8221; A few years later he made the leap into business ownership and the restaurant industry with MOOYAH, gravitating towards the brands kid-friendly atmosphere and high quality product. As for the location of his next MOOYAH? Grippo is looking into Fairfield County and other Westchester County family-centric areas like Scarsdale, but from finance to franchising, Grippo knows that in his new career, he controls his fate. &#8220;I love the idea of kind of controlling my own destiny, and if it&#8217;s successful, it&#8217;s on me,&#8221; he said. &#8220;If it fails, it&#8217;s on me.&#8221; <a href="http://westfaironline.com/79019/from-banks-to-burgers-franchisee-opens-mooyah-in-larchmont/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=westchester-county-business-journal-mooyah-burgers-fries-shakes-opens-location-in-larchmont-new-york-4448" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Click here to read the original article.</a>
