After undergoing a technology overhaul,&nbsp;<a href="https://unofranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=hospitality-technology-uno-targets-hotels-with-franchise-concept-2719988" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Uno Pizzeria</a> has found a new area of growth and expansion for the pizza chain: hotel restaurants. In an interview with&nbsp;<a href="https://hospitalitytech.com/uno-targets-hotels-franchise-concept?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=hospitality-technology-uno-targets-hotels-with-franchise-concept-2719988" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Hospitality Technology</a>, Uno Pizzeria CEO&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/erikfrederick/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=hospitality-technology-uno-targets-hotels-with-franchise-concept-2719988" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Erik Frederick</a> and Senior Vice President of Information Technology&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/regina-c-jerome-1727164/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=hospitality-technology-uno-targets-hotels-with-franchise-concept-2719988" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Regina Jerome</a> offer insight into how partnering with the pizza chain benefits hotels.&nbsp;One of the benefits of hotels partnering with Uno is that the brand has an existing supply chain and infrastructure to support hotel locations added to Uno’s portfolio, but according to Frederick, “converting [a hotel restaurant] over to a known pizza brand also helps hoteliers capture lucrative alcohol sales plus off-premises orders and third-party delivery sales from local customers.” This partnership was able to be accomplished through the technological overhaul executed by Jerome in 2019.&nbsp;The technological improvements allow hotels to integrate Uno’s technology into the hotel’s existing systems, including restaurant management software.
