Pizza Hut brought together the perfect pairing back in 2017 when they started offering pizza-and-beer delivery in Phoenix, Arizona. According to QSR Magazine, the paring was a big hit and will now be expanding across stores in Arizona and California throughout May.

“Pizza Hut has and always will be focused on serving customers a great pizza experience. And nothing complements an oven-hot pizza like an ice-cold beer,” said Pizza Hut’s chief marketing officer Zipporah Allen in a statement. “In addition to our extensive delivery network, many Pizza Hut restaurants are already licensed to serve and distribute beer, without third-party services, additional fees, or extended wait times. Expanding the pilot program is a natural way for Pizza Hut to get our customers the perfect pizza and beer combo they’re craving, delivered right to their doors.”

Previous companies who tried to implement alcohol delivery faced challenges working with third-party delivery services. Pizza Huts 2016 remodel included beer and wine service, therefore gives the company license to serve and distribute.
