The Growth Coach, a leading business and sales coaching franchise backed by Strategic Franchising Systems, is ending the year with record-setting momentum. Fueled by unprecedented franchise development performance, major innovation in coaching technology, strong owner retention and growing demand from corporate clients, 2025 stands as the brand’s most successful year in more than half a decade.
“It’s been a very good growth and expansion year,” said Brad Schneider, president of The Growth Coach. “We have had a better sales year than we’ve had in the last seven years. From a franchise development standpoint, this is our best year since 2019, and we are super excited about that.”
The Growth Coach sold nine new territories this year, a 125 percent increase over recent years, and expanded internationally with its first territory in Hong Kong, showcasing the brand’s growing global relevance. The brand also hit a milestone in owner retention, demonstrating the strength and longevity of its model.
“We had ten territories up for renewal this year with coaches who came to their agreement,” Schneider said. “So it’s a lot of good news on the growth and retention side of things. New blood coming in, and keeping and motivating existing owners as well.”
In a business environment marked by economic and political uncertainty, more professionals are turning to coaching, both as clients and as franchise owners. Schneider says the current climate is accelerating demand.
“For us, uncertainty for everyone else is a great thing for our service, whether it be political or economic,” he said. “All of those things are contributing to people joining The Growth Coach.”
The brand continues to lead the coaching space with a proven, scalable model, low overhead, high-value support, lifestyle flexibility and a franchisee-first leadership approach — all key draws for new operators looking for meaningful work with strong earning potential.
One of the most significant developments this year was the introduction of The Growth Coach’s new AI coaching tool, which enhances both franchisee and client experience.
“We launched an AI coaching tool this year, so now we have the ability to do just-in-time coaching with all clients and owners,” Schneider said. “It’s a partnership we have with a vendor who has developed marketing strategies and coaching tools. This is a huge differentiator in the marketplace. Owners can use those AI tools to add that coaching layer alongside the Strategic Mindset coaching.”
While The Growth Coach remains well-known for its work with small business owners and entrepreneurs, the brand has also seen increasing demand from mid-sized and large corporations seeking leadership development.
“We’re seeing a lot of growth and expansion with corporations doing leadership development work,” Schneider said. “Because we’ve been coaching business owners for 20 years, we have easy entry into some well-paying clients by taking our expertise into larger organizations and showing them what entrepreneurs do on a regular basis.”
Internal enhancements also played a major role in this year’s momentum. The Growth Coach completed a comprehensive overhaul of its training program and knowledge base, with an emphasis on video learning and peer-to-peer expertise.
“We’ve been featuring the top performers in the network who are sharing their best practices on video,” Schneider said. “We still have an aggressive program to help owners, but now they can hear from the superstars in our network as well.”
On the operational side, the brand is currently redesigning its client-facing website to enhance messaging, improve conversion capabilities and generate stronger leads for owners.
“We are really putting effort into enhancing capabilities and developing new leads for our owners,” Schneider said. “We are refining our messaging to better reflect how the market views coaching, allowing us to speak the language of prospects, attract the right clients and clearly show how coaching fits into their business.”
After closing its strongest year in more than seven years, The Growth Coach is gearing up for even greater expansion. “We’re hoping to add 16 to 20 new owners next year,” Schneider said. “There is so much opportunity ahead of us.”
