CEO Cheryl Henry made the announcement on her 1st day in the role
Ruth’s Hospitality Group Inc., the parent company of Ruth’s Chris Steak House, announced Q2 results that saw same-store sales increase by 1.3 percent on Friday. A recent article in Nation’s Restaurant News said that despite a .1 percent decrease in restaurant visits, the brand experienced positive comps due to average check increases from Mother’s Day and Father’s Day holidays.
The good news for the high-end restaurant chain comes on Cheryl Henry’s official first day in the role of CEO. Her appointment was previously announced in June as former CEO Michael O’Donnell was named executive chairman of the franchise brand.
