Jason Mazzarone spoke with Franchise Marketing Radio to discuss the founding of the brand in his family’s italian ice house and what’s in store for the concept that has since expanded to 40 units across the northeast since its founding in 2012.SoBol’s main offerings include smoothies and smoothie bowls, and the brand prides itself on using fresh ingredients that are delivered seven&nbsp; days a week from local farms. Their smoothies are blended fresh daily, without using ice, powders or syrups, and are allergy-friendly. The brand’s products are created with fresh fruit and topped with a variety of all-natural nut butters, heart-healthy seeds and fruit, as well as SoBol’s exclusive homemade granola, made with all-natural ingredients including cashews and almonds.“Our consumers can feel confident about having a healthy, quick option for breakfast and lunch,” said Mazzarone. “We're happy to provide a quality product, in a fast casual environment and allow our customers a healthier alternative to support their dietary needs.”According to the interview, the brand has plans to expand to new territories across Florida, Georgia, California, North Carolina, Virginia in 2020. Mazzarone mentioned their main growth initiatives including product expansion, digital menu boards, online ordering platforms, and 3rd party delivery companies.&nbsp;"Originally the focus has been specifically in the northeast and throughout New York,” said Mazzarone. “As we've grown we've decided to take some chances to try to grow our brand into a national brand.”While SoBol continues to&nbsp; expand, Mazzarone is focused on ensuring their values and initiatives are consistent at each and every unit, whether new or existing.
