Susan King, VP of Becoming Mom Spa and longtime friend of Social Geek Radio hosts Deb Evans and Jack Monson, joins this week’s podcast to discuss Pokémon Go. King has three boys who are all engaged with the new location-based app, so she’s sharing what she has learned.

The app’s success has been viral— TechCrunch reports that it’s the biggest U.S. mobile game ever, with users spending more time on it per day than Facebook. Even the National Parks are using Pokémon Go as an educational tool. Cities like Houston also have Facebook pages and websites dedicated to the app.

Now, franchising brands are getting in on the action and using Pokémon Go’s viral success to increase foot traffic to their locations.
