Chris and Jano Pittner own the McKinney <a href="http://franchise.sylvanlearning.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=crains-dallas-franchisees-experience-major-growth-for-texas-based-sylvan-learning-centers-7168" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Sylvan Learning Center</a> and returned from the Sylvan Conference in Arizona with high recognition from the corporate team. The Pittners have set out to help students, like Tanner Diede, with their learning needs.

Tanner and his family moved from California to Texas when he was in second grade. His mother, Kacey, knew that he was going to need extra help with certain subjects. After going through programs at the McKinney location, he is now excelling in school.

According to Crain&#39;s Dallas, the Pittners own 13 total locations in North Texas and founded the McKinney location 10 years ago. They won an award at the Sylvan Conference for generating the second-most revenue in <a href="http://sylvanlearning.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=crains-dallas-franchisees-experience-major-growth-for-texas-based-sylvan-learning-centers-7168" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Sylvan&#39;s</a> system, which has more than 700 locations.

&quot;We try to hire very enthusiastic center directors and directors of education,&quot; Chris Pittner said. &quot;We are focused and passionate about good customer service and keeping parents engaged and students learning.&quot;

The centers continue to bustle throughout the school year and during breaks as students look to catch-up or get ahead in their learning.
