Tippi Toes, the youth enrichment franchise with 38 units and counting, continues to grow as a result of its proven business model and dedicated network of franchisees.

One of Tippi Toes’ newest franchise owners is Michael Goldberg, a former healthcare executive with more than a decade of experience in the healthcare industry. Goldberg recently signed with Tippi Toes to open between five to 10 units, and plans to open his first few franchises in places like Nassau County, New York; Wilmington, Charlotte, and the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina; as well as Jacksonville, Florida.

Before diving into the franchising industry, Goldberg served as the Hospital President and Executive Director of Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In that role, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hospital’s $1 billion annual operating budget. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Goldberg not only led the hospital through times of uncertainty, but he also took time to reflect on the most important things in life. It was during this introspective period that he realized the value of spending more quality time with his family.

This realization, alongside his passion for promoting health and wellness, is what pushed Goldberg to pursue new business opportunities. Through his research, he discovered Tippi Toes, and was instantly drawn to it. According to Goldberg, around the same time, his children were also enrolled in a similar dance program, which made Tippi Toes that much more appealing to him.

But, one of the reasons why Goldberg says he decided to invest and become a multi-unit owner is because of the long-term health benefits that Tippi Toes can create for children.

“It’s a great way to teach children healthy lifestyle choices at an early age,” said Goldberg. “The earlier we can make an impact in people’s lives, to show them how to live healthier, to be more active and to make the right decisions, the more we can leave a lasting imprint.”

Not only does Tippi Toes have physical health benefits, Goldberg says he appreciates that the brand is interactive and engaging and that it stimulates children both mentally and physically while bringing them “tremendous joy.”

Goldberg also believes that Tippi Toes can transform the unhealthy lifestyle and choices that are prevalent in the United States today. He sees Tippi Toes as an opportunity to support children, allowing them to have fun and express themselves while improving their self-esteem and morale. Goldberg believes that children who have experienced Tippi Toes approach life with a different, more positive perspective.

Tippi Toes is actively seeking multi-unit operators in places like San Antonio and Fort Worth, Texas; Knoxville and Chattanooga, Tennessee; Atlanta, Georgia; Little Rock, Arkansas; Columbus, Ohio; Tallahassee, Florida; and Denver, Colorado.
