Top Franchise Legal Players: Amanda Dempsey, Attorney at Law for Kent Franchise Law Group

Amanda Dempsey has been a franchise legal professional for more than 10 years, developing insights from a law degree at Villanova University and furthering some of the most regarded franchise brands in the country through legal expertise. Her current duties are as an attorney at law for Kent Franchise Legal Group, where franchise law and distribution is Dempsey’s primary focus.

Dempsey’s legal advice for franchisees pertains less toward the brand they are looking to represent and more on the ways they intend to develop their own business presence.

“I would say probably the most important thing is to know thyself,” she said.

She spoke highly of the motives of prospective business owners and the ambition they all share, noting the commitment required to create an established brand.

“There's so many things that I love about working with our clients, but [my favorite is] probably the entrepreneurial spirit that our clients have,” she said.
