Recently, I was laid off from my most recent position and was looking for something new. I spent over 20 years and retired as a major with a master’s degree. It wasn’t easy.”After retiring from the military, Campbell moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, where he became a pastor at a small church. Under his leadership, that church grew significantly and eventually built a multi-million-dollar complex. Campbell built affordable housing for senior citizens using low-income tax credits. He purchased and renovated multifamily properties to lower rent.
