What Is Your Management Style?

Learning to earn workplace respect by not being too nice

Caring for your employees is an important part of being a manager.

Any good manager shows that they care for their employees and do their best to help them. But oftentimes this leads to managers who act like friends rather than leaders.

In this video I want to talk about why your management style may be losing you respect and hampering employee growth.

As a manager, you have to be willing to be the boss. This means when it comes time to give critiques or make changes, you can’t be passive about it.

Many people think that by holding back their feedback, they’re sparing the feelings of their staff.

But this is one of the worst things you can do as a leader. It’s your job to make sure your employees are growing, and the best way to do this is by making decisions and giving honest feedback.
