Megan Gothard, 30, has played an integral part in fab’rik’s growth since joining the brand as a stylist 10 years ago. Since that fateful [caption id="attachment_15875" align="alignright" width="175" caption="Megan Gothard"][/caption] day, Gothard has worn many hats within the company, and is now looking forward to continuing to grow with the brand as a franchisee. Gothard first joined fab’rik during her days at Georgia State University, where she was studying communications and real estate. During her initial four years, Gothard played many roles within the company, including modeling at fab’rik fashion shows and assisting CEO and Founder Dana Spinola as an accessories buyer.   While Gothard left fab’rik temporarily to pursue a contracting job, her passion for the brand ultimately drew her back. “Many of the best friends that I met are still working at fab’rik or tied to the brand in some fashion,” she explained. “It’s always been a company I believed in.” Gothard initially returned to fab’rik to join the corporate team to oversee franchise development during the brand’s infancy while also managing the City Walk fab’rik boutique. Most importantly, Gothard was instrumental in building the core standards that fab’rik still implements to this day. After almost two years of selling the franchise concept to potential franchisees, Gothard essentially sold it to herself. Currently, In addition to being a fab’rik franchisee, Gothard is also on the design committee for the Asher Collection and sits on the Honorary Board for free fab’rik. How did you learn about fab’rik? I was looking for a job while in college, and my boyfriend at the time had come across fab’rik and recommended that I take a look. It was the best advice he could’ve given. Why did you choose an opportunity with the brand? I have been involved with fab’rik since the beginning and have always believed in it. The brand’s growth and vision fit my life purpose and personal goals. What are your development plans and long term goals with fab’rik? I would love to open multiple stores but I want to make sure that I have a good year under my belt before moving onto the second one. If a location becomes available I might pull the trigger.
