Zac’s Burgers is a growing, family-oriented burger franchise based in Philadelphia. Zac’s is known for its quality food, great service and friendly atmosphere. Initial investment costs for Zac’s Burgers start between $119,500 and $198,000, and owners will need $35,000 on hand for the first three months to cover additional costs. Zac’s also offers franchisees a more affordable food truck option where investors can purchase a new, fully loaded burger truck for under $100,000.

Steak ‘n Shake serves steak burgers made out of the freshest, highest-quality cuts of meat. The franchise currently has over 500 restaurants in 30 states. To become a part of Steak n’ Shake the investor will need a minimum net worth of $1.5 million; $500,000 available in liquid assets; and between $1,375,000 and $2,135,000 for initial costs.

Sonic has been around since 1953 and is known for fast, high-quality service. The brand has about 3,000 locations and startup costs range from $1.02 million to $1.77 million. The licensing fee is $45,000, and franchisees need a net worth of $1,000,000 with $500,000 in liquid assets.
