According to IbisWorld, the bowling industry’s market size has increased by 5.7% in 2022. That growth is expected to continue for years to come. 810 Billiards & Bowling, the six-unit bowling, dining and entertainment franchise, plans to capitalize on this trend with new franchise openings in Arkansas and South Carolina.

The brand’s Greenville, South Carolina, location will be owned by Rylan Miller, an experienced franchise owner with Tropical Smoothie Cafe. His 810 Billiards and Bowling franchise has an expected opening date of January 2023.

“810 Billiards and Bowling is completely different from anything I’ve ever done, which excites me,” said Miller. “I’m looking forward to bringing a new concept to Greenville as people are getting more comfortable with getting back out there after COVID. I feel like this is a renewed sense of entertainment.”

Formerly the president of Worldwide Ticketcraft in Boynton Beach, Florida, Erik Covitz is pivoting in his career to bring 810 Billiards and Bowling to Fort Smith, Arkansas. His location is in its final stages of equipment installation and is planning for a mid-November opening to the public.

“I was looking for a different career away from the printing industry,” said Covitz. “I felt that if I was going to be working for the next ten-plus years, I wanted to be in a fun environment where the patrons were typically in a good mood. I liked the idea of owning a business where people celebrated and had a good time.”

Founder and CEO of 810, Michael Siniscalchi, shares the franchisees’ enthusiasm for the openings and believes that these owners will lead the brand successfully as it expands nationwide.

“On the Fort Smith side, we’re excited to bring in the first entry into the market in our space. We know Erik will have tremendous success,” said Siniscalchi. “In Greenville, there are competitors in the area — it’s a larger market. We’re happy to have an experienced business owner like Rylan represent the brand there.”

Moving forward, 810 Billiards and Bowling plans to escalate its expansion efforts.

“A lot of our development pipeline is stringing together that southern corridor between South Carolina and Arizona,” said Siniscalchi. “We’ve found great franchise partners in this area, and there is a lot of built-in infrastructure there to support them as they develop.”

The total investment necessary to begin the operation of an 810 Bowling Franchised Business is $1,427,500 to $2,474,000, including a $50,000 franchise fee. For more information on franchising with 810 Billiards & Bowling, visit
