Ruby Tuesday has 500 locations in the United States, however only has one existing location in New Mexico. According to Ruby Tuesday Vice President of Franchise Development and Operations James Vitrano, the brand is emphasizing the Albuquerque market as its next venture in the state.

"We really do well in that mid-sized market with growth opportunity; in those markets that recognize quality food but at a great value," Vitrano said.

Today, Ruby Tuesday is searching for the right partner at the local level; a franchisee with the means to open three to five units in New Mexico's biggest city.

"We're really looking at the entire state," Vitrano said. "Albuquerque is the focus, but we would love to expand into Santa Fe, Taos, all the way up to the Colorado border."
