The zero emission vehicle world is upon us, and Bobby Martinez from Mr. Electric is helping drivers from Simi Valley, California drive fully charged. Martinez  had been an electrical contractor for almost 11 years, and gained 20 years of electrical experience before opening his Mr. Electric in April 2012. Since then, Martinez has grown his Mr. Electric into a thriving franchise. With electric vehicle sales on the rise, the demand for in-home charging stations has grown far beyond supply. With brand names not having the infrastructure to support these installations, Martinez saw a gap in the market and took advantage of the business opportunity. “There are many instances where customers buy new vehicles and need their charging stations installed in their homes,” says Martinez. “When people move in and out of their homes they need to bring their stations with them and that’s where we come in.” By the end of June this year, Mr. Electric had installed approximately 400 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations for residential owners for a variety of different vehicles system-wide. Mr. Electric estimates about 1,725 electric vehicle charging stations to be installed this year alone, and that number is expected to increase to 3,000 by 2014. With these demands, Mr. Electric began its own Electric Vehicle Charging Station sales initiative, which provides customers with options of service brands such as Eaton, Blink and other major providers. “Electric vehicles aren’t going away anytime soon, and we are prepared to provide customers with installation services for the years to come,” Martinez says. Equipped with extensive experience in home charging stations, Martinez is now an expert in this specific area of the electric industry and is ready to provide endless days of free emission transportation to residents of California.
