In 2016, MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes* opened its 100th restaurant. In 2017, the rapidly expanding fast-casual “better burger” franchise plans to harness that momentum by continuing to grow its presence in new markets across the country, while bolstering its footprint in existing territories. MOOYAH is proud to announce the promotion of Jordan Duran to Director of Franchise Sales in order to strengthen development strategy and steer intelligent growth.

“We truly believe we have the very best product on the market and offer the greatest experience for those seeking quality dining in a family-friendly environment, and we want to share the MOOYAH brand in more communities across the U.S.,” said Michael Mabry, Chief Operating Officer for MOOYAH. “With Jordan Duran taking on the role of Director of Franchise Sales, we are confident we will find and grow with franchisees that exceed our high standards for quality and share our core values.”

In the new role, Duran will transition from the marketing team where he served as Senior Marketing Manager, playing a pivotal role in the brand’s strong local store sales success for more than three years. MOOYAH has also announced the hiring of Colin Berry as Senior Field Marketing Manager to fill Jordan’s former role. Berry comes to MOOYAH after six years in the TGI Friday’s system where he served as a Coordinator, Project Manager, and Field Marketing Manager. Duran will transition former duties to Berry while taking on the title of Director of Franchise Sales.

“One of my greatest joys has been to watch the positive impact our franchise partners make in their communities when they open new MOOYAH restaurants,” said Duran. “Now, I have the opportunity to grow a brand that I’m extremely passionate about, and find those great men and women who will continue the legacy of providing our Seriously Fun experience to even more communities by investing in the MOOYAH franchise opportunity.”

As Director of Franchise Sales, Duran will serve as the main point of contact in the franchise sales process as well as lead franchise development marketing and sales strategy. Duran will also be involved in market-specific strategy with MOOYAH’s team of development agents covering areas throughout the country.

“Jordan lives and breathes MOOYAH and has a huge heart for the brand,” added Mabry. “He has become an incredible brand ambassador and understands the values that go along with being a successful franchisee in this system. As we continue to expand, we’re excited for the relationships Jordan will help foster, and the future franchise prospects that will decide to join our growing family.”

At MOOYAH, quality food goes hand in hand with customization. Each gourmet burger can be customized with five different cheese options, Applewood smoked bacon, sliced avocado and chili, along with ten free veggie toppings and 11 free sauces.
