Papa Murphy's is looking to take a larger slice out of the Springfield, MO market.
According to the Springfield News-Leader, the accessible take 'n' bake pizza concept
has targeted the southwest Missouri area for four additional locations.
"It might seem counterintuitive, but our consumer looks at our product as actually convenient," Papa Murphy's Vice President of Franchise Sales Gary Payne told the Springfield News-Leader. "You get two or three pizzas, put them in the fridge, you don't have to cook them until you're ready. And it only takes 10 to 15 minutes."
Papa Murphy's is currently evaluating eligible franchisees in the area, and is offering a lowered initial investment fee for these individuals as they start business.
