The casual sit-down pizza franchise successfully opened five new locations and has more planned for 2023 as part of its new hotel conversion program.

Pizzeria Uno, theinventor of Chicago Deep Dish Pizza and iconic pizzeria franchise with over 80 units, is seeing record new growth as a result of its recently launched hotel conversion program.
The neighborhood pizza franchise saw major growth in 2022, as it signed five new franchise locations, marking the first additions to its brand in over 15 years. The growth is a result of the chain’s latest decision to work alongside the lodging industry. As of late, Pizzeria Uno has put a new focus on converting hotel-owned dining rooms into sit-down Pizzeria Uno locations.
In a press release, Pizzeria Uno CEO Erik Frederick says the brand has already seen notable success from the initiative, and added that it, “will be a major source of growth for the brand moving forward.”
The brand, which is responsible for inventing the original Chicago Deep Dish-style pizza, is now planning to open at least 10 to 15 new units by the end of 2023.
