Austin Fit Magazine: REGYMEN Fitness Signs 10-Unit Deal With Former Division 1 College Baseball Player and Coach Jedd Soto
In the article, Jedd Soto discusses his plans to open 10 locations in Austin, TX.
According to an article in Austin Fit Magazine, Jedd Soto, the former Division 1 college baseball player and coach, has signed on to open 10 REGYMEN Fitness locations in Austin, TX. Soto was the first franchisee with the brand in 2018 and opened his second location on April 3, 2021. His third location is set to open this May. The former sports star didn’t even have to be pitched by the brand — he had already been a longtime fan.
“I was spending an absurd amount of money between four different gyms trying to find the perfect studio that offered a great workout, but I wasn’t finding it,” said Soto. “I had never given franchising a thought. When I became interested in REGYMEN, it was just a concept — the team didn’t even have licensing yet. But I fell in love with the concept and waited until a franchise opportunity became available.”
Soto’s deal isn’t the only one the brand has signed to showcase its rapid growth. They opened five locations in December of 2020 as well. While many fitness brands have shuttered due to the pandemic, REGYMEN has prioritized its coach-client relationships to keep customers engaged and coming back.
