<a href="https://www.skedaddlefranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=skedaddle-humane-wildlife-control-sees-double-digit-sales-in-2022-as-the-brand-expanded-its-presence-in-the-us-and-canada-2720760" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control</a>, the 35-unit wildlife control franchise based in Canada, had another year of record growth as consumers continue to spend on keeping their homes safe and critter-free.Franchise owners benefited from&nbsp;four streams of revenue: wildlife, pest control, attic insulation and professional Christmas decorating. Through 2022,&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/skedaddlehumanewildlifecontrol">Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control</a> added several new units and saw double-digit sales growth across all franchise locations, anywhere from 10% to 20% year-to-date.&nbsp;“2022 has been a fantastic year for Skedaddle,” said CEO&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamdowd?originalSubdomain=ca&utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=skedaddle-humane-wildlife-control-sees-double-digit-sales-in-2022-as-the-brand-expanded-its-presence-in-the-us-and-canada-2720760" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Bill Dowd</a>. “Despite economic uncertainty, people are turning to us to take care of the biggest investment of their life: their home. We found that, during tough times, people tend to retreat to their ‘castle.’ And they don't want to have mice running through their walls or critters destroying them. We feel we're well positioned as we as the economy goes in these turbulent times, and we are looking forward to 2023.”&nbsp;Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control has been fortunate to have back-to-back record years. Dowd notes that the work-from-home model has made consumers more aware of what’s going on in their homes and quicker to take care of any problems they notice, such as sounds coming from the attic, for example.&nbsp;Because of this, 2022 was a milestone year for many of the brand’s franchisees. In fact, the brand had a number of different salespeople enter what it calls the “$100,000 club,” meaning they sold $100,000 in just one month.&nbsp;To support further growth, Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control has been&nbsp;expanding its footprint by franchising in the United States. Its two fastest-growing locations this year were the Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin territories. Madison grew by 51% compared to a year ago, while Milwaukee saw an increase of 39%. Notably, both of these locations only provide wildlife control services out of the four services offered by the brand, making the accomplishment much more impressive.&nbsp;The brand will continue to capitalize on this growth and expand in the United States in the coming years as demand for its services continues to soar. Dowd noted that the brand’s corporate call center has been getting anywhere from 600 to 700 phone calls a day, sometimes from markets in the United States that it hasn’t even entered yet. The franchise website has also seen major digital traffic coming from users in the United States. Looking ahead to 2023, Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control is looking to add 14 units in densely populated metropolitan markets across the United States, such as Atlanta, Georgia; Tampa, St. Pete and Jacksonville, Florida;&nbsp; Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, Texas; and Denver, Colorado.&nbsp;For enhanced franchise prospect growth, the company also partnered with&nbsp;<a href="https://raintreesales.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=skedaddle-humane-wildlife-control-sees-double-digit-sales-in-2022-as-the-brand-expanded-its-presence-in-the-us-and-canada-2720760" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Raintree</a> franchise sales organization. “We know we have a great brand with professional systems, cutting-edge technology and processes that allow franchisees to scale their business,” said Dowd. “Raintree will help us better spread that message across the franchising industry.”&nbsp;New and existing franchisees can expect to benefit from a low buy-in price, a semi-absentee ownership model and a wealth of knowledge from the corporate team – many of which have been with the brand for years. In 2022,&nbsp;Brandon Crawford, Business Development Manager, celebrated a milestone of 20 years, while&nbsp;Corey Lewis, Director of Technical Operations, celebrated 23 years.“We have hundreds of years of experience when you add up those of all my staff and franchise support people who have been around for 20 or 25 years,” said Dowd. “That has been a great accomplishment for us.”&nbsp;One of Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control’s unique factors is the opportunity for franchise owners to book jobs that are significant in size. For example, one of the brand’s corporate locations recently earned a $160,000 job providing Christmas lighting for a community event for charity and signed a five-year contract. This led to more than half a million dollars in sales.&nbsp;“At Skedaddle, you can get big jobs with big sales,” said Dowd. “ I don't think there are many franchise opportunities out there where you can pay for your franchisee with just a single sale.
