Today is National Wing Day—Here’s How Restaurants Are Celebrating
No matter how you like your wings, there are plenty of chances to celebrate National Wing Day the right way—by eating them.
An estimated 28 billion traditional bone-in chicken wings are expected to be eaten in 2016, according to the National Chicken Council. Some 1.3 billion are eaten during Super Bowl Sunday, alone.
Whether you like your wings hot or slathered in BBQ sauce, here’s a round-up of where you can celebrate National Wing Day.
According to an article in The Daily News, Wing Zone has some suggestions on how to make the day delicious. Wing Zone offers a unique flavor combination in their Sweet Samurai wings, which they suggest frying for just under 10 minutes until crisp to perfection. The chef also recommends tossing the wings until they’re covered in sauce and serving them piping hot.
