Each year, 1851 Franchise ranks the best development website for franchises among all segments. Our panel of expert judges studied more than 200 websites, critiquing factors such as first impressions, quality of content and ease of use. This year, we sat down with each judge to discuss what they found and their advice for franchise brands hoping to elevate their sales websites.

Today, we speak with Thomas Scott, CEO of franchise consulting firm Brand Journalists and co-founder and COO of multi-brand franchisor Home Based Franchise Group. Scott draws from his experience as both a franchisor and a lead-generation and development pro for franchise brands from a range of industries to provide his best advice for franchise brands hoping to improve their development websites.
