Honest Lash Identifies Lubbock, Texas, as Key Market for Upcoming Growth
The lash and brow enhancement franchise plans to add two new studios to the Lubbock area as it expands its Texas presence westward.
With plans to fully saturate its home state, Honest Lash, the Texas-based lash and brow enhancement franchise, is targeting Lubbock for additional growth. While the concept’s presence is currently concentrated in Austin, Texans have proven their interest in beauty services like Honest Lash’s, and there are over 100 territories available to fill state-wide.
“Filling out our presence across Texas is the first step in achieving nationwide expansion, and Lubbock is a great community to support us as we work to move farther West,” said Chief Operating Officer Megan Madere. “The demographics of the community are a lot like Austin, where we’re already seeing a lot of success, but the geography of the area means that services like ours are less accessible to consumers in the area. We’re excited to come to them and make their beauty routine that much easier.”
Honest Lash offers a range of lash and brow enhancement services, catering to a range of preferences while staying true to a single motivator: leveling up clients’ self-care regimens and enhancing their natural beauty.
“Lubbock reminds me a lot of Austin, just with that younger, small-town feel,” Madere said. “They really support local businesses, and there is a young customer base there because of Texas Tech, but they’re experiencing steady growth and have proven the strength of their economy.”
To start, Madere said the brand aims to add two new studios to the Lubbock area, but additional expansion is certainly possible in the future. Geographically speaking, development in Lubbock offers an attractive opportunity for entrepreneurs looking to bring a truly novel experience to an underserved market.
Ideally, Madere said, the entrepreneur that brings Honest Lash to Lubbock will be a multi-unit franchisee. It will be relatively easy to manage multiple studios in the Lubbock area, and firsthand experience operating in a market that balances growth and diversity with a welcoming, small-town feel will be valuable for succeeding with subsequent growth in the area.
“There are so many smaller surrounding towns that a location in Lubbock itself could serve as a great hub,” she said. “People in towns like Plainview, Lamesa, Brownfield and Levelland might do a little bit of shopping in their areas, but they’re likely traveling to Lubbock for large trips to the grocery store, clothes shopping and social events. It only makes sense to establish ourselves in the area residents have already identified as the place to go for important things like beauty services.”
