The team will also help get the ball rolling on ordering equipment and putting together materials for hiring employees and operational team members.&nbsp;After franchisees go through the onboarding process, they will be scheduled for a week-long training that covers in-depth aspects of the business.&nbsp;&nbsp;“During training, we go over everything in great detail from top to bottom,” said Armstrong. “Although we can’t train people on tree care in a week, we can train them on how to get started. We cover everything from safety, to vehicles and equipment, to sales. We'll also go out to one of our vendors and go through the machines we use.”Armstrong added that no topic is off limits during training. The goal is to successfully set franchisees up to hit the ground running.&nbsp;Ongoing Franchise Support throughout OwnershipThe support at Joshua Tree Experts is designed to allow franchisees to spend time focusing on running the day to day of their franchise. Through a robust back end system, the franchise will be taking care of a lot for its franchisees.&nbsp;For example, the brand will be developing all of the recruiting for them. “We're going to put people in front of them that they can hire, as long as they feel that they're the right fit and the right culture for them,” said Malik.&nbsp;Franchisees will also benefit from extensive sales and marketing support. Through brand funds, Joshua Tree Experts develops and pushes leads to its franchisees. Additionally, a call center on the backend will take care of their calls, so franchisees do not need to hire additional employees to do so.&nbsp;Armstrong noted that he and the team are very committed to being there for franchisees whenever they need them. “My availability to them is 24/7,” he said. “When I commit to a franchisee, I’m giving them my word.”&nbsp;Joshua Tree Experts understands that the first year is critical for new owners.
