Milwaukee's TMJ4 talks to Barry Hintz, who operates a 100 percent veteran-staffed AdvantaClean.
The AdvantaClean of Suburban Milwaukee, a franchise owned by Barry Hintz, is 100 percent veteran staffed.
Milwaukee’s TMJ4 reported that Hintz, a veteran himself, was recently recognized by the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve for supporting the hiring of veterans. Matthew Mitchell is a veteran who came back from serving and was looking for the next chapter in his life and found it with AdvantaClean.
“My whole point was to get employed in a job where job security was number one,” Mitchell told TMJ4 reporter Rebecca Klopf. Hintz served in the first Gulf War and until 3 years ago was working in sales before he decided to purchase an AdvantaClean franchise. He is dedicated to giving fellow veterans an opportunity when they’re done serving their country and transitioning to civilian life.
“They’re very dependable,” Hintz told TMJ4. “They’re very mission-oriented. I wanted to hire guys that had leadership experience.” Hintz is planning to hire another veteran in the months to come.
