Tracy David has always dreamed of owning her&nbsp;own <a href="https://www.dairyqueen.com/us-en/Company/Franchise-With-Us/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=the-post-first-time-franchisee-proves-dreams-come-true-with-dairy-queen-franchise-11387" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Dairy Queen</a>&reg;, and according to a recent article in The Post she will be opening her first location in May of this year.

The article discusses David&#39;s background as the local Chief of Police in Hanover, and details her love of the Dairy Queen brand that finally culminated in her co-ownership of the soon-to-open Walkerton location.

Said David to The Post,&nbsp;&quot;It&#39;s always been a dream of mine, so I said if I could be co-owner I would be the general manager.&nbsp;It&#39;s been overwhelming. I&#39;m really happy about the buzz, people keep asking when we are going to open.&quot;
