Chris and Susan Jewell are Hand &amp; Stone franchisees in the Charlotte neighborhood of Steele Creek. The Jewells&rsquo; Hand &amp; Stone in the Steele Creek neighborhood of Charlotte opened in January 2019 and is the first of two planned locations for the couple. The other store is set to open in nearby Mathews, North Carolina at a still-to-be-determined date. Chris and Susan&rsquo;s commitment to bringing the esthetic side of Hand &amp; Stone&rsquo;s business to the forefront, Susan said, &ldquo;is something that has served as an immediate differentiator from the competition in the Charlotte market and gain a lot of traction in their local community.&rdquo;

Noting that Hand &amp; Stone invests in innovation by making sure its spa locations have access to the latest and greatest products on the market, Susan said that the brand&rsquo;s Himalayan salt massages, LED light treatments, microcurrent, and dermal infusion offerings have done wonders for their customer value proposition. Hand &amp; Stone also plans to break into the sizzling hot CBD market through a new systemwide test of a CBD oil massage offering. &ldquo;The brand is very on top of the trending topics and treatments right now and it&rsquo;s awesome to be one of the first in the spa industry to offer something like that,&rdquo; she said.
