Home-based Business Owner Capitalizes On Strong Demand For Shared Office Space

Couple invests in Office Evolution franchise bringing the rapidly growing co-working space concept to Pennsylvania

Before opening the Office Evolution’s 50th location, Mark Delehey worked in the insurance business for various organizations over the past 30 years. Most recently, Mark established a home-based consulting business and it is there where Mark experienced first-hand the challenges and issues that home-based small business owners and solo practitioners face, particularly the lack of support and the reduction in social interaction. Lauren practices law. Having worked in a variety of office environments and utilized conference rooms, meeting rooms and day offices in many different locations, she knew how important a comfortable and professional workspace is to the functioning of a business and this is why the pair signed to open three locations of their own. This will be the first location in the state for Office Evolution, servicing Montgomery and Bucks Counties.

“My wife and I loved the concept off the bat. The environment is comfortable and quiet, making it a great place to come to work for both concentration and collaboration,” said Mark Delehey. “There are no other shared workspaces like this in the area – we know that Montgomery and Bucks Counties are going to enjoy the concept as much as we do and it fits in perfectly with the suburban feel.”

Office Evolution’s vision is to provide entrepreneurs with a highly professional, co-working space that offers flexible solutions, monthly memberships and all-inclusive pricing. The brand’s franchise expansion in Pennsylvania is reflective of the demand for a model like Office Evolution’s. Offering conference rooms, as well as private and shared office spaces, allows professionals to connect with peers or have an all-inclusive area to call their own. This variety has helped Office Evolution position itself as the industry’s leading provider of co-working space for small business owners and independent professionals.

Mark will manage the location and be involved in the day-to-day operations, while Lauren will be heavily involved, but will still be practicing law. As for right now, the couple has no definitive plans for when the other two locations will open, but they are actively scouting real estate in the community.

The pair is ecstatic to bring the first location to the state of Pennsylvania and looks forward to serving the local business community. The brand is actively scouting franchisees to open locations throughout the state.
