Each person I talked to was very helpful and it definitely helped in terms of making the decision easier.”In May of 2014, Larry Krieg opened his very own PMI location in Clarksville.Running his own property management business felt right in line with the skills he learned while serving in the military, helping him better run his business, Larry Krieg noted. “I started to realize that my military background provided the structure and discipline that would be helpful in the franchise world,” he said. “I also had years of leadership experience to help me better understand people, which has been beneficial as I’ve grown my team.”As Larry Krieg’s PMI location became more and more established, he knew <a href="https://1851franchise.com/propertymanagementinc/on-the-path-to-becoming-a-household-name-property-management-inc-continues-to-build-buzz-across-the-us-2709881#brand-latest-stories">investing in the company </a>was the right decision. “My business provides a service that I did not feel was being met successfully when I was looking for a property manager,” said Larry Krieg.&nbsp;Larry Krieg has&nbsp; experienced enough growth that he is now able to provide employment opportunities to people in his community as well as donate to different charities.&nbsp;To continue his upward trajectory, Larry Krieg plans on continuing to expand his PMI business’ reach within the community to add homeowners associations (HOAs) and short-term rental management to his service offering.&nbsp;Because Larry Krieg was a new-comer in his industry, he has a few pieces of advice to give other new-comers who are looking at getting into franchising. “Take your time and gather as much data as possible,” he noted. “Also, try and talk to people that have been doing what you are interested in, but are at different levels of the process. Find someone who has recently joined a franchise, someone who has been doing it for a year or two, then someone who has been doing it for three to five years.
