From March 6-8, TruBlue Home Service Ally brought its franchise network together for the 2026 Annual Conference.
Set against the backdrop of one of the fastest-growing trends in home services, aging in place, this year’s conference highlighted the system’s momentum as well as the franchisees leading the way in their communities.
A System Built on Momentum
The energy at this year’s conference reflected a brand that is accelerating on all fronts. TruBlue entered 2026 on the heels of a record-breaking year and continued that trajectory with over twenty new franchise signings in Q1 alone.
“Our momentum coming into this year has been incredible, and the conference really brought that to life,” said Sean Fitzgerald, president of TruBlue. “We’re seeing growth across the board, with new franchisees joining the system, existing owners scaling their businesses and increasing awareness around the need for aging-in-place services.”
That growth is being driven by a powerful demographic shift. As more Americans choose to remain in their homes as they age, the need for reliable, non-medical home services continues to rise.
“The aging-in-place wave is no longer something we talk about as a future trend. It’s happening right now,” Fitzgerald said. “Our franchisees are on the front lines of that demand, providing practical solutions that help people live safely and independently in their homes.”
Reinforcing a Mission-Driven Culture
Growth and performance were a major part of the conversation, but the conference also underscored the purpose-driven mission behind the brand. Rather than operating as a one-time service provider, TruBlue is built to support long-term relationships with homeowners, particularly seniors in need of ongoing maintenance and safety modifications.
That unique positioning was a key focus of the conference, including breakout sessions and discussions around local partnerships, as well as expanding recurring revenue through Home Maintenance Plans.
Recognizing Excellence Across the System
One of the conference’s highlights was the annual awards ceremony, where TruBlue honored franchisees who reflect the brand’s standards.
Franchisee of the Year, the brand’s highest honor, was awarded to Brian Winton and Amber Ferguson, recognizing their outstanding business performance and commitment to the TruBlue mission.
The Rookie of the Year award celebrated several standout new owners who quickly made an impact in their markets, including Jeff and Will Kinkade, Michael and Jodi Phillips, Cassondra and Miles Bottoms, and Jean Soong.
The Foundation Award, which honors franchisees who embody TruBlue’s core values and purpose, was presented to Bob and Glenda Kniss, Amber and Brian Winton, Tad Albright and Benny Wink.
Celebrating Performance, Innovation and Leadership
In addition to the top honors, TruBlue recognized franchisees across a range of performance and leadership categories:
The brand also highlighted the importance of collaboration through its Advisory Group Members: Jeff and Janet Sloan, Tom Gray and Jason Rowland, Dan McMurtry, Adam and Lake Bancroft, and Darrel and Traci Ferguson.
Top-performing franchisees were recognized in the Winner’s Circle, including Lake and Adam Bancroft, Paul Hines, Jeff and Janet Sloan, Nate Kear, Bob Kniss and Quinn Malone. Dan McMurtry was honored as a member of the Million Dollar Club.
Scaling With Purpose
As the conference wrapped, one message remained clear: TruBlue’s growth is being driven by a real market need. “There is a significant gap in the marketplace when it comes to reliable, small-scale home modifications and maintenance for seniors,” Fitzgerald said. “Our franchisees are stepping in to fill that gap, and that’s what’s driving both our growth and our long-term opportunity.”
With strong Q1 momentum, increasing national awareness and a franchise network committed to both performance and purpose, TruBlue is positioned for continued expansion throughout 2026 and beyond.
“Our owners are building businesses that are both financially rewarding and personally meaningful,” Fitzgerald said. “As demand continues to grow, we’re exactly where we need to be, and this conference was a powerful reminder of that.”
