With a Rock Hill location slated to open later this year, an uptown location expected for June and a second Mooresville location is expected by summer.

Robert Maynard, founder and CEO of <a href="http://famoustoastery.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=charlotte-observer-famous-toastery-announces-plans-for-more-charlotte-area-locations-in-2017-11206" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Famous Toastery</a>, expects to have around 25 locations in the Charlotte area in the next two years, huge growth from the existing nine.

Stacy and Chuck White, a local Charlotte couple, are opening the newest Mooresville location. The couple owns the other Mooresville location.

&quot;We hadn&#39;t realized how excited our customers would be for us to expand down there,&quot; Stacey told the reporter of the first Mooresville area.&nbsp;

The first Famous Toastery was opened in Huntersville in 2005.&nbsp;

&quot;The goal was never to be a chain,&quot; Maynard told the reporter.&nbsp;
