According to Crain&#39;s Detroit Business, former insurance executive Pete Mourad has signed an agreement to bring three Hounds Town USA franchises to the metro Detroit area. Mourad is planning to open his first location in Troy this summer, followed by two others in the next three years. This marks the first multi-unit agreement for Hounds Town USA.

&quot;The dogs at Hounds Town are basically at play all day,&quot; he said. &quot;They&#39;re not in kennels. It&#39;s the best thing for dogs.&quot;
