Early education and child care franchise Lightbridge Academy is eyeing New York as a key expansion state for growth in 2018, with heightened interest in partnering with franchisees to open in Westchester County, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island. The New Jersey-based company has already sold out its home market and plans to further establish itself in the Mid-Atlantic market by saturating New York. To jumpstart this mission, Lightbridge Academy team members will be at The Franchise Show held at the Meadowlands Exposition Center on February 17 and 18 to meet with franchise candidates and talk with prospects about the benefits the brand offers to its franchisees and the local communities in which it operates.

Lightbridge Academy already has an operational center in Long Island, with additional locations under development in NYC and Westchester. Prime territories are still open in targeted areas throughout New York, and the brand’s Senior Vice President of Franchise Development  Mark Mele is looking to meet with qualified franchise candidates who understand the business market and demographic of New York.
