Kingwood's Sylvan Learning was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey, but beginning on Monday, dozens of kids were back in class thanks to local businesses and the Rowland/Ballard School. It is opening it's doors to Sylvan students so that they can continue their supplemental and enrichment education programs.
“We are pleased to have a relationship with Sylvan and so glad we had the classrooms available at this time. Since Hurricane Harvey, there has been so many amazing examples of people helping people. In the short time we have known the Sylvan staff, it’s been truly awesome to see their commitment to helping children grow and learn,” Rowland/Ballard Owner David Ballard told The Tribune.
